About
I'm currently perusing an interest in Observational Cosmology, with an emphasis on instrumentation, at the University of Pennsylvania.
Here is brief summary of my previous projects at the University of Wisconsin:
My first project was the refit project for the X-ray Quantum Calorimeter (XQC) sounding rocket payload. It is an 8 x 8 microcalorimeter array of Si Thermistors. XQC is currently scheduled for another launch in January of 2010. We will use the data collected to study the components of the Diffuse X-ray Background (DXB).
My second project was to design and characterize a Fabry-Pérot Etalon for the South African Large Telescope.
